Screen Shot 2016-08-09 at 09.32.45As we reported in our last blog, publishers are continuously seeking ways to increase readers’ engagement on their sites. While there is no single solution, a recent survey conducted by Crowdynews found that one-fifth of US 18 to 24 year olds and a quarter of 25 to 34 year olds expressed their interest in websites that offer integrated social content alongside editorial content.

What’s more, nearly 24% said social content on a publisher’s page would entice them to stay longer on the site or visit additional pages within the same site.

These results are the first in a series of survey reports where you’ll learn:

  • How Millennials agree social content on publishers’ sites increases engagement
  • How Local News is preferred by US readers over other categories of news
  • How social media influences UK readers trust in and perception of credibility of news stories
  • And much more…
