Rutger was born and raised in Groningen where he studied Law at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. For nine years Rutger was active in a different field, before he started working for Crowdynews in April as a Social Media Editor.
He is a big fan of sports in general, but especially loves soccer. He played soccer from a very young age, but unfortunately had to quit a few years ago due to injury. Rutger also enjoys skiing. For him skiing is the perfect combination of being active outdoors and enjoying nature, good food and drinks. Other hobbies include reading, watching movies and drawing as well. Rutger enjoys travelling the world and Japan in particular, being really impressed by the Japanese people and culture.
