Today we’re excited to announce that all Crowdynews customers now have access to new “widgets” that give your readers the relevant, real-time, and safe social content that complements your articles.
With these new features, you are able to deliver a much better social experience on your website. These new fast-loading widgets allow your readers to more easily engage with & share social content from the stream on your site, whether they’re browsing from desktop or mobile.
New features include:
- A new sleek, modern user experience that makes it easier for readers to consume and engage with and share content, including:
- Sharing options available for the widget page and for individual items in the widget, directly from the stream and from the overlay
- “Read more…” buttons in full page mode to enable further exploration of the content stream
- “New content” notice when new posts are available in the stream
- Improvements that ensure the Crowdynews experience loads even faster for your readers, whether they’re browsing on desktop or via mobile
- “Future-proofed” experience that eliminates the need to replace code on your site with future updates
With the release, three new widgets become available:
- A horizontal widget
- A vertical widget
- A full page widget
To take advantage of these new features, the current Crowdynews code on your site(s) will need to be updated. You may update the code on your site yourself, or work with our Customer Services team.
